Autism Concepts, Incorporated is a behavioral consulting company providing applied behavior analysis (ABA) and verbal behavior analysis (VBA) for children with autism spectrum disorders, language delays, challenging behaviors, and other developmental delays. We are experts in capturing a child’s motivation to enable him to have functional language, learn appropriate play skills, and socially engage with his peers.

Autism Diagnostic Clinic
A possible autism spectrum disorder is assessed using gold standard measures.


Challenging Behavior Clinic
Provides treatment for behaviors such as aggression, compliance, feeding difficulties, toileting, and sleeping.


Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT)
PCIT is an evidence-based parent-training program that increases pro-social skills and decreases negative behaviors.The quality of the parent-child relationship also improves.

Autism Concepts at North Texas FEAT 

Autism Concepts' Nancy Champlin, Executive Director, and Nicole Carlisle, Clinical Director of the Kansas ACI Learning Center, presented at  the Families For Effective Autism Treatment - North Texas conference on January 19, 2011. The session, discussing Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP), was attended by 50+ parents, teachers, and behavior analysts working with children with autism specturm disorder.

Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program, developed by Dr. Mark Sundberg, is a language and social skills assessment program for children with autism or other developmental disabilities.

The conference was coverd by CBS of Dallas Fort Worth.
